Hi Lisa, Thanks for your information. I just did VI peel but my Brown spots did not fade that much. Now I’m wondering should I go for Vitalize peel or start Obagi Skincare system, I’ll talk to my dermatologist but just asking for your advice..!! Thanks again!!

Hi Lisa…I have been using Obagi Nu-Derm system for 10 weeks now and am still peeling. I am using the system for dry skin and am using the Tretinoin .025. I also have found that my pores look larger. When do you think the peeling will stop and when do you think the pore size will shrink. I have gone thru such a horrible 7 weeks and have been horrified at how red and peeling my skin was. It is no longer like that, but it is still peeling. Thanks for any insight!

@MsGoldgirl Hey Marnie! That sounds like a deal! I also use the Refissa with the system, which is a RetinA/tretinoin–that is supposed to be the best thing for fine lines and anti aging— period–I only use a pea sized amount every other night–and it takes a while to quit peeling and flaking, but it is so worth it–I need to do an update! xoxo Lisa

Lisa-how does this work on fine lines? My doctor’s office is offering a free travel set when you purchase the system this month.

  14. dhoopsunheri on April 19, 2011 at 4:11 pm

Hi lisa, thank you for the video, very informative. i have started the obagi nuderm since a week. i live in UK, and its very expensive here. i wanted to know that once i finish the 12 weeks how do we maintain the results? i clearly can not use this forever everyday as it is very expensive. Could we use some other sunscreen while using the obagi?

Hi Lisa, I just found your videos and I think you do such a good job of explaining and recommending products! I have been interested in Obagi for a little while so it was good to hear about it from a real person who uses the line. Do you mind me asking how old you are? (you do not have to answer if you don’t want to!) I am older than a lot of beauty bloggers I watch (I think we might be around the same age) so it’s nice to see you!

  17. vanezzy81 on April 19, 2011 at 4:43 pm

    I recommend obagi!

  18. MsDeborahd on April 19, 2011 at 5:30 pm

No using anything now except for the Clinique 3 Step system and thinking I need something much more to get my skin in shape..was looking to get Tretinoin from my Doctor but now I’m thinking I need add something above and beyond that even..thanks for explaining the whole system – much appreciated

Thank you so much for this video; it was SO helpful to me! A quick question for you – did you ever consider doing the blue peel to go along with your Obagi regimen? What made you decide on the Vi and Vitalize peels instead? Thanks for any insight on your decision. PS – I look forward to every video you post. You are so down to earth and fun to watch…keep the faith, girl!

My mom tried using Obagi a few years ago, and gave up. She couldn’t stand the peeling and sensitivity to sunlight. If I knew she could have gotten a peel before hand, maybe she would have finished the 6 weeks..

Thank you so much for making this video! I wish I knew this much about the products before. She had gotten the products through a friend who hadn’t explained it very well, so Thank You again!
    Lots of <3,

Hi Lisa – have you heard about the claims of hydroquinnone and cancer..i heard about this and got scared..i was wondering your take on that…thanks Lisa – this video was very interesting!

  24. littletidbit30 on April 19, 2011 at 9:48 pm

WOW!! Thanks for this!! I have had that darkening of the skin around my mouth for several years now. I have just started noticing it on other areas of my face. I am going to have to check this out!

  25. t07061988 on April 19, 2011 at 10:14 pm

Very informative and lots of useful information. I have been using an obagi serum now and then and it does not seem to have much effect on my skin since my skin is already in a pretty ok condition.
I’m also in my early 20s and unless you have really bad skin, i don’t feel these products will do much difference. It does help of course, my skin feels nicer the next day after i’ve used it.
Obagi is definitely one of those products that work, i know i will be using this later down the track. TY!

  26. imogen206 on April 19, 2011 at 10:39 pm

are you being paid by Obagi at all?

  27. mrssarahmarie55 on April 19, 2011 at 11:34 pm

    @calberkeley01 I am not sure. Sorry :)

  28. calberkeley01 on April 20, 2011 at 12:22 am

  34. mrssarahmarie55 on April 20, 2011 at 4:28 am

@Bronzewolf3 After I am done with the 12 weeks I will start a normal skin care routine with some regular cleansing products. I still have to go talk about the maintenance with my doctor. I think you use the Obagi Nu-derm once a year for 12 weeks, but I could be wrong. I will let you know when I talk to my doc next!

  35. bronzewolf3 on April 20, 2011 at 4:59 am

nice video, im thinking of trying this system, what are you using now for maintenance?
